BUILDING PROFILE OF COMPETENCES FOR STUDENTS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AT TNU - UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

This article presents the results of practical research on the proficiency and professional competencies of teachers of physical education at high schools in 6 northern mountainous provinces. The study adopted a mixed method, including references analysis and synthesis, experts’ consultation, questionnaire and statistics. The number of surved questionnaire was 80 votes, including 64 votes of deep interview; the participants were 50 alumnus who were curently physical education teachers and 14 administrators in order to evaluate general capacity and required professional capacity of physical education teachers. From the findings, 21 general competencies and 11 specific competencies were selected and suggested for physical education teachers training. This result is one of the bases for renewing the physical education teacher training program to meet the requirements of renewing the general education program after 2018.
