Abstract


The study was conducted to assess the current situation and to identify the determinants of participation in voluntary social insurance of people in Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province. The results show that not many people participating in voluntary insurance in the locality, the participants are in many different fields, the number of participation increases gradually over the years. From the survey data of 171 employees, including 87 people participating in unemployment insurance and 84 people not participating in unemployment insurance, there is a significant difference in the level and income of the groups. The logit model shows the factors of gender, education level, people's income, living area, awareness of social security of unemployment insurance, people's understanding of unemployment insurance policy, propaganda. about unemployment insurance and family - society affects people's decision to participate in unemployment insurance.
