Quality management system (QMS) is a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. A QMS helps coordinate and direct an organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. The study focus on garment industries for modeling and implementing quality management system so that overall activities of the companies (including technical, administrative, and human factors affecting the quality of the products or services) are under control. Furthermore, the experience of the researcher in teaching of garment engineering provides a better understanding of the technological and manufacturing processes of garment products.
