EVALUATING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF NAM DINH PROVINCE IN THE CONTEXT IN THE CONTEXT 4th INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Abstract


In the past years, under the influence of the industrial revolution 4.0, which has penetrated more and more deeply, Nam Dinh province has focused on investing to improve the province's competitiveness in the new context. However, according to the evaluation and ranking results of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), Nam Dinh province has low scores and unstable rankings over the years. The article used descriptive statistics and comparative methods to clarify the importance of improving competitiveness in the new context, analyzing and evaluating the current situation, achieved results, limitations of improving the competitiveness of Nam Dinh province in the context of the 4.0 revolution from 2015-2020. From there, some possible solutions are proposed to increase investment attraction and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of Nam Dinh province in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0.
