VIETNAM – AFRICA ECONOMIC AND TRADE RELATIONS IN RECENT YEARS

Abstract


This study is implemented to understand the economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Africa in recent years. The economic-trade relationship between Vietnam and Africa is of particular interest to academia and researchers due to the strong acceleration in bilateral trade turnover, reaching new heights. Africa is a potential market for Vietnamese commodity exporters. studying economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Africa to have a suitable approach is a good solution for bilateral trade cooperation, helping Vietnam to expand into new markets, avoiding dependence on some previous traditional markets before. Based on data sources in the fields of diplomacy, economic cooperation, culture and bilateral trade, the study has summarized, generalized and given general comments, assessment of difficulties and limitations. At the same time, this study proposed appropriate countermeasures and solutions for the development of economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and African countries, recommending countermeasures to promote bilateral cooperation in the current period.
