Abstract

Nowadays, three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) are widely used in industry or robotics. There are a lot of methods to control permanent magnet synchronous motors such as using PID, inventers… Sliding mode control method (SMC) is one of the motor control methods. This is a control method with a variable structure in terms of control structure and algorithms. It is stable and responsive. To apply slip control to a synchronous motor, it is necessary to first determine the algorithm model of the motor. We apply the voltage source inverter method with a speed below the rated speed to determine the current control loop circuit power, speed and position. The position control method is applied to the permanent magnet three-phase synchronous motor with the controller parameters to be calculated and selected accordingly so that the motor's speed and position are close to the preset speed and position.
