THE RESULTS OF STUDYING AMONG SELECTED STUDENTS AT THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

Objectives: To describe the results of studying among selected students studying at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Materials and methods: A cross- sectional study with the results of studying on a scale of 4.0 (GPA) from secondary records from all selected students studying at the University. Results: There are 444 selected students studying at the University, with the rate of female/male: 1.32/1, including 21 ethnic groups. The average results of studying from the first to sixth year are: 1.72; 1.85; 2.29; 2.18; 2.57; 2.19, respectively. The rate of very good and excellent students through the year is low. The cumulative grade points are weak and below average reduce over the school years. Female students from the North-East and Tay, Nung ethnic groups have significant higher cumulative scores. Conclusion: Ranking the results of studying among selected students at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy is not high and tends to progress in the following years.
