Abstract

For educational students in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, experiment teaching plays a critical role. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that are required for pedagogical students to develop experiment teaching capacity. With 124 students from the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, the study was conducted utilizing a questionnaire survey approach with 4 factors and 23 variables. The findings revealed that four aspects that contributed to pedagogical students' experiment teaching competence included professional capacity, capacity to conduct experiments, capacity to arrange activities, and capacity to test and evaluate. These variables accounted for 78.3 percent of the diversity in pedagogical students' experiment teaching ability formation. These elements provide a solid foundation for pedagogical students to test their own experiment teaching abilities. The research results are also the basis for the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to refer to building training programs and allocating reasonable time for students.
