Abstract


The purpose of the study is to provide an overview of the impacts of the Covid-19 epidemic on freelance workers in Thai Nguyen city. The study used a questionnaire to survey 100 freelance workers in Thai Nguyen city. Collected data and information were aggregated, analyzed, and objectively evaluated. The research results clearly show the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on (1) Employment; (2) Income and expenditure; (3) Psychology, health, family care and (4) Changes to adapt to the new living conditions of freelance workers. The effects of the Covid-19 epidemic on freelance workers are huge and negative. Therefore, freelance workers themselves need to raise awareness of epidemic prevention and control, exercise health; actively improve skills, expertise and techniques, learn new skills and knowledge, access to effective spending methods, etc. to adapt to life and limit risks.
