THE TRAGEDY FATES IN THE NOVEL "BA LAN VA MOT LAN" BY CHU LAI

Abstract


The study aims to survey the novel "Ba lan va mot lan" of Chu Lai published by the Labor Publishing House in 2009 in order to show the identification signs of tragedy fates appearing in the novel and explain the cause of those tragedies. Based on the basic concept of literary theory, the content criteria were used to reflect as the mainstream for surveying and classifying. By using methods of statistics, comparison, and general analysis, the researchers give a few interpretations as well as discover and identify the world of characters, especially the tragedy fates in the novel "Ba lan va mot lan" by Chu Lai, and the character identification elements of tragedy fate, explain the cause, and determine the dominant emotional sound and real pen of the author when describing. The results of the article contribute documents to the research and teaching of modern Vietnamese literature after 1975 on the topic of war and post -war.
