Abstract


To evaluate the dietary intake of chronic kidney failure patients periodic hemodialysis at Bac Ninh Province General Hospital in 2023. The study was conducted according to a descriptive method with a cross-sectional design in 180 patients with chronic kidney failure patients periodic hemodialysis. Research results showed that: The patient's dietary intake energy reached 62.1% of the recommendations. The amount of dietary intake protein reached 91.8%, lipid reached 53.8% and carbohydrates reached 63.0% compared to the recommended needs. The amount of calcium, iron, vitamin A, vitamin B2 in the patient's diet were lower than the recommended needs, especially iron and vitamin A. However, the amount of animal protein, phosphorus, vitamin B1, vitamin PP và vitamin C in the patient's dietary intake met the recommended needs. The amount of sodium consumed in the dietary intake was guaranteed to be within the allowed limit. The dietary intake didn’t not meet some essential nutrients compared to the recommended needs for patients.
