Abstract

Glamping is a term commonly used recently to refer to outdoor accommodation that does not involve camping. Glamping brings customers experiences with the natural environment while ensuring luxurious and comfortable services. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the trend of glamping tourism has increased, but currently, there is very little research on this type of tourism. The study contributes to generalizing the theory, including concepts and some forms of Glamping, while introducing several Glamping establishments operating in Da Nang today, proposing a few recommendations to improve the quality. Bibliometric analysis method to explore research on Glamping on the Scopus database system, combined with field survey methods, in-depth interviews and comparative analysis, is used in this article. The results summarized the development of glamping tourism in general and the glamping business in Da Nang in particular, with diverse experiential activities consistent with current tourism development trends. At the same time, the study proposes some solutions to improve Glamping business efficiency in Da Nang in the future.
