Abstract

Since August 2020, for the first time in the history of driver training, the theory tests have a question which counts "Fail" from "60 Questions About Serious Unsafe Traffic Situations". For evaluation, these questions were surveyed with 11th grade students who had never received any driver training. As a result, about the difficulty of question, 81.6% were suitable difficult, the rest was too difficult, but there were no questions that were completely unanswered. There were 55% of questions with problem of distractions, meaning that the quality is not guaranteed. In content, there are no real situational questions, the questioning issues are nothing more serious than the usual questions and 20% are only about motorcycles. Therefore, it can be said that these "Fail" questions do not have the effect of evaluating and measuring the learner's ability, but only causing unnecessary risks and inequality in driving theory tests.
