Abstract


The research on factors affecting student satisfaction about the subject of National Defense and Security Education in order to contribute to the quality of the subject. It also builds a team of lecturers with high ethical quality, professional conscience and professional qualifications, with modern teaching methods and styles. At the same time, it also strengthens the sense of responsibility of learners, helps students improve themselves, and creates conditions for learners to reflect their own aspirations and opinions about teaching and learning activities. Research data were collected from survey results by questionnaires from 392 students of An Giang University, VNU-HCM. SPSS 20 and AMOS 24 software were used for the analysis and evaluation of the scales. Research results show that the majority of students are satisfied with the subject of National Defense and Security Education. The SEM model shows that there are six factors affecting student satisfaction about the subject of National Defense and Security Education, namely the Subject Program; Result evaluation; Management organization; Teaching methods; Teaching staff; Infrastructure. From the research results, a few proposals are discussed to improve student satisfaction about the subject of National Defense and Security Education.
