Abstract

This article has researched the corresponding relationship between Modern Chinese’s rhymes and Sino-Vietnamese sound’s rhymes. The research data source of this article is the Modern Chinese pinyin and the Sino-Vietnamese sound of 3000 Chinese characters in The graded Chinese syllables, characters and words for the application of teaching Chinese to the speakers of other languages published by Hanban (China) in 2010. This article has used quantitative methods and comparative methods, through SPSS 25.0, has made statistics on the number and percentage of the corresponding forms in Sino-Vietnamese sound of Modern Chinese’s rhymes and the number and percentage of the corresponding forms in Modern Chinese of Sino-Vietnamese sound’ rhymes. Then, this article has determined the main one-way corresponding form by the criterion “the main corresponding form is the corresponding form with its percentage ≥ average percentage”. On that basis, this article has built a table of corresponding rules between Modern Chinese’s rhymes and Sino-Vietnamese sound’s rhymes.
