CURRENT SITUATION OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN GENERAL HOSPITAL, BAC NINH PROVINCE

Abstract


Health human resources are a key and decisive factor for the development of a system providing services to protect, care for and improve human health. In which, human resources are the decisive factor for a hospital to compete the assigned tasks. The research topic aims to evaluate the current state of the hospital's human resources, which is necessary to improve the hospital's operations in the future. With cross-sectional descriptive research method, research results show that: The number of medical staffs is 820 people in 2018, 1038 people in 2022. The clinical sector accounts for the highest proportion of human resources, which is 65.12% in 2016 and 70.33% in 2022. Human resources in the paraclinical & pharmaceutical department range from 18.36% to 21.78%. The administrative management block accounts for from 9.99% to 13.62%. The proportion of doctors with postgraduate qualifications in clinical departments has gradually increased over the years and reached >50% of the total number of clinical doctors. The rate of nurses, technicians, and midwives with university degrees reaches and exceeds 4.3 times as prescribed by Circular No. 23/2005/TT-BYT. The ratio of human resources distributed by hospital bed only reaches 0.92 medical staff per hospital bed by 2022.
